During early June, 2009 we set off on a Journey through the Interior of British Columbia. While we didn't have too many specifics, we did know that BC history was on the agenda, so Barkerville was a must. And since there are lots of dirt roads around Barkerville, it was the perfect destination for us. Come join us and see what we see. All of the roads ridden, have never been ridden by any of us before, we have no idea what's around the next corner, just like those of you watching.

Elk Lake and Dugan Lake

Dugan Lake is a short distance out of 150 Mile House, where we spent our first night. The Site was not what we wanted so we moved on and spent the next couple of nights at Elk Lake. The misquitos were a real pain, but on the whole it was great.

Barkerville

Arriving at Barkerville late, we were treated to free admission to Barkerville. After seeing it, we knew that we would be back and pay full fare as it would be worth it, and it was.

The 3100 Road

While staying at the Whiskey Flats Rec Site, we explored the area and made a trip out to Ghost Lake and Falls.
